Persinger Company CPA's, Inc. was originally known as R.L. Persinger & Company and was founded by the late Robert L. Persinger in the late 1920s. The original company expanded into seven locations across Virginia and West Virginia. Over time, each branch was purchased by various partners and established its own name and identity. We have been in the same location in Covington, VA, since 1968. At Persinger Company, we strive to do the best work possible for our clients while establishing personal relationships that last a lifetime. Our goal is to maintain a small local business that helps clients tackle big financial tasks.
Donald L. Dale
Donald graduated from Concord University in 1968 with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. He began working at R.L. Persinger & Company (as the company was known previously) in May 1968. Later the same year, Donald was drafted into the United States Marine Corps, where he served for two years. Upon his return from service in 1971, Donald started back full-time with the company and has been here ever since. He says that his favorite part of this job is the personal relationships established with clients while helping them with their financial needs at the same time. Donald is a Certified Public Accountant, a member of the AICPA, and was awarded Life Member Status by the VSCPA in 2018. Donald is also a member of the Victory Baptist Church.

Kurt A. Feazell
Kurt graduated from Virginia Tech University in 2003 with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Information Systems and began working at Persinger Company in September of the same year. Kurt has lived in The Alleghany Highlands all of his life and is pleased that he has been able to spend his entire career in a small local business that contributes to the community. Kurt has served on numerous non-profit boards throughout his career. He says his favorite part of this job is working with clients in unique situations, learning from that experience, and then applying it to future situations. He feels like people walk in as a client but leave as a friend. Kurt is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the AICPA and VSCPA. He is a husband, the proud father of two daughters, and a member of the Lone Star Advent Christian Church.

Jennifer A. Lee
Jennifer joined Persinger Company in May 2015 as a payroll and bookkeeping specialist. She has 17 years of experience in these areas and has done extensive work on individual tax returns since joining the team. Jennifer specializes in helping clients handle day-to-day tasks while always keeping a positive attitude. Jennifer says her favorite part of her work is that every job is different, and that helps her learn to take different perspectives to accomplish goals. She and her husband live in Covington and could not imagine ever calling anywhere else home. Jennifer enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and friends and is a lifelong member of Mallow Presbyterian Church.

In Loving Memory of Ginger
In 2005, Ginger joined Persinger Company and quickly became a beloved member of our team, winning the hearts of many clients along the way. Her warm presence was so cherished that clients would occasionally drop by just to spend time with her. She enjoyed tuna, an occasional treat, and assisting Donald with his clients by laying on their paperwork. Sadly, our beloved Ginger passed away in June 2022, leaving wonderful memories of her time with us.
